It would be very appropriate for Hokule'a/TaiPing ships to stop at Naha. The Okinawa Kingdom had very close tributary relationship with China. Since Okinawa is so close, Fujian(ese)ships must have stopped there very often. Also,since the racial and cultural features of the Okinawans seems to have some Polynesian influences, the ancient Polynesians must have landed in Okinawa as they did in other islands all over the Pacific.
