This is Daniel from Hawaii! I'm a member of the Hawaii-Sashiki Chinen Doshikai, and also WUB (Worldwide Uchinanchu Network) - Hawaii.

I was born and raised in Hawaii (sansei), but lived on US Mainland for a few years. Arizona, New Jersey, Missouri, California.

I'll be a visiting Researcher at the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa from October, 2007 for a year!
